At TwelveBricks, our goal is to make complex websites easy to manage and intuitive to navigate. A clear structure helps visitors find the right information quickly. With that in mind, we’re introducing a powerful new feature in our latest release: Mega Menus.
What is a Mega Menu?
A Mega Menu is an extended navigation menu that goes beyond a standard dropdown. It allows you to create multiple columns containing not just lists of links, but also other types of content blocks.
This helps visitors find the right section of your website at a glance. Perfect for larger websites with many pages, topics, or categories.
Why Mega Menus are useful
Clear navigation determines whether visitors can easily find what they’re looking for. Mega Menus bring structure and clarity to websites with a lot of content.
- Clear for visitors: Visualize the structure of the website via flexible components.
- Visually appealing: Combine text, links and images for a rich experience.
- Easily expandable: Easily add new items without cluttering the menu.
How it works
The Mega Menus are available to all customers with an Enterprise subscription.
- Go to the dashboard and open the Header settings.
- You'll find a new menu item for Mega Menus.
- Create a new Mega Menu and select the page for which it should be visible.
- Build the Mega Menu using different sections and blocks, just as you would when building pages.
- Publish the menu and add the corresponding page in the main navigation. The Mega Menu is then automatically added to the header.
