New functionality
Showing content in overlays
This release makes it possible to show the content of selected types in an overlay. This allows you to show information without the visitor leaving a page.
Translation progress
If your website uses multiple languages, you have probably noticed that the automatic translation sometimes takes a bit longer, depending on the page content. It was not very obvious that the platform is working very hard in the background, but we have changed that. A progress indicator now shows exactly how far the process has progressed.
Reduced motion in animation
Reduced motion is critical for accessibility because it protects people with certain medical conditions from potentially dangerous reactions to animations and moving content. We made additional adjustments to ensure that animations are turned off when the visitor has set this for themselves.
Improvements
- Update to the latest version of Drupal and associated updates to all modules and front-end packages used, providing improved security and performance.
- Due to changes at Google, not all SEO information of a page was available anymore. We fixed that.
- Improved handling of forms so that it is now possible to place multiple forms on a page.
- When editing a page, the cookie banner kept showing up. We now only show the cookie banner to website visitors. Adjustments to the cookie notification settings can continue to be made via the dashboard.
